Pomptonian feels that an effective tool for ensuring safe and healthy service to our customers is continual staff training and reinforcement. University of Pomptonian was developed, in conjunction with other formal training methods, to train Food Service Directors and Managers to provide on the job training for their school food service personnel. Some of the topics include food safety, identifying reimbursable meals, and compliance with the National School Lunch Program regulations. We are proud to note, our emphasis on training has earned us numerous Gold Star awards for superior attention to food safety from the Board of Health.
