This is a full time position. The Cook Manager position in West Morris Mendham High School requires an individual with both managerial and culinary experience with the ability to assist in designing menus, prepare all food, and managing inventory as well as a staff of 7-8 employees. The position also requires the ability to manage moneys, oversee student accounts, and is responsible for the reconciliation of all cashiers daily/weekly/monthly with the oversight of the Food Service Director.
This person must be able to lift and move product and deliveries. This position requires the ability to perform tasks in a timely manner and will require the person to be on-site from 6:00AM- 1:30PM. This individual must be able to assist in bi-monthly Board Meeting catering events. The Cook/Manager will answer directly to the Food Service Director and assist in any capacity deemed necessary to provide the best level of service and product quality to our students and faculty.
