RAHWAY, NJ — The week of September 23-27 marked the beginning of Farm to School Week at Grover Cleveland School, where students were treated to a variety of healthy and nutritious meals featuring locally-sourced produce. The event showcased the school’s commitment to promoting healthy eating habits and supporting local farmers.

Gabor Szucs, one of Pomptonian’s talented chefs, delivered a captivating live demonstration, teaching students how to prepare delicious Mexican Style Corn using local corn from Buzby Farm. His culinary expertise inspired students to explore new flavors and appreciate the importance of fresh ingredients.
The students in the assembly got to put their newly learned knowledge to the test and compete in an interactive and fun Kahoot trivia game.
New Jersey Farm to School Week marks the beginning of the Farm to Tray (school) rotation provided by our food service management company, Pomptonian Food Service.
