SUMMIT PUBLIC SCHOOLS, POMPTONIAN FOOD SERVICE EARN HIGH MARKS IN LATEST ONLINE RANKINGS; ORATORY PREP, OAK KNOLL MAKE LIST OF TOP CATHOLIC SCHOOLS

SUMMIT, NJ – Niche, the Pittsburgh, PA -based the online company that offers rankings and statistics based on a mix of data points and information from “millions of residents, students, and parents who’ve been in your shoes,” has released a series of school-specific lists with relevance to residents of the Hilltop City and neighboring communities.

 Niche has ranked the Summit Public School District sixth in New Jersey as noted in their “2016 Best School Districts” category. Princeton occupied the top spot, followed by Millburn, West Windsor-Plainsboro, Montgomery Township, and The School District of the Chathams.
Summit Schools also was tabbed as the 68th best district in the nation, with Tredyffrin-Easttown School District in Tredyffrin Township, PA, ranked first overall.
Summit School District has also been ranked fifth in New Jersey in the “Top 100 Best Food in Schools” rankings, according to Niche. Summit, and Pomptonian Food Service — which has been providing service to the the district since 2009 — was also listed as the 85th nationally.

Oratory Prep, occupying 34th place, and Oak Knoll — at 50th — were among five area Catholic Schools cracked the “Top 100 for 2016” in nation by Niche.

Delbarton (3), Villa Walsh (54), and Mount Saint Mary (84) were also on the list.
