The Cook Manager position in West Morris, Mendham High School requires an individual with both managerial and culinary experience with the ability to assist in designing menus, preparing food, managing inventory, as well as managing a staff of 7-8 employees. Your leadership ability and skills will be called upon to achieve consistently high standards.
The position also requires the ability to manage money and oversee student accounts, while being responsible for the reconciliation of all cashiers' daily/weekly/monthly, under the oversight of the Food Service Director. This person must be able to lift and move product and deliveries. This position requires the ability to perform tasks in a timely manner and will require the person to be on-site from 6:00 AM-1:30 PM. This person must be able to assist in bi-monthly Board Meeting catering events. The Cook Manager will answer directly to the Food Service Director and assist in any capacity deemed necessary to provide the best level of service and product quality to our students and faculty.
